If you have Medicare and something about it doesn’t add up, or you’re helping a parent, spouse, or someone you love make sense of theirs, our team is a few miles away and ready to talk.
No cost. No pressure. No obligation.

Most people who reach out to us aren’t new to Medicare. They’ve had it for years and still have questions, or they’re the one standing next to someone else trying to help. Wherever you fit, you’re in the right place.
You’ve had coverage for years, but something changed. Costs went up, a doctor left your network, or you just aren’t sure your plan still fits.
You’re the one keeping track of appointments, prescriptions, and paperwork for someone else’s Medicare. You need a real answer, not another form.
Your parent’s coverage somehow became your job, even though nobody officially handed it to you. We’ll explain it in a way you can pass along without guessing.
You and your spouse may be on different plans, different timelines, or completely different pages. We’ll help you sort through both, together or separately.
You’re getting close to eligibility and want to understand your options before the mail starts piling up. We’re glad to walk you through it, on your timeline.
A lot of people can’t say, off the top of their head, whether they have Original Medicare, a Medicare Supplement, or a Medicare Advantage plan. That’s not a knock on anyone. Medicare mail is confusing, plans change their names, and most people enrolled years ago and haven’t looked at it since.
If you want to check, grab your red, white, and blue Medicare card, or the Annual Notice of Change letter your plan mailed you this fall. We’ll help you read it, explain what it actually means, and tell you whether your current coverage still makes sense for you.
Not sure where to start? Just call or send us your question, and we’ll walk you through it.
There’s no such thing as a small Medicare question. Here are a few we hear all the time.
Open Enrollment doesn’t start until October 15, and nothing about your coverage changes today. September is simply a good time to look at what you have, understand your current plan, and ask the questions you’ve been putting off, before the mailbox fills up and everyone starts calling.
There’s no rush here. You don’t need to make a decision this month, or even this year. This is just a chance to get clear on where you stand, so that when Open Enrollment does arrive, you’re prepared instead of scrambling.
Medicare Open Enrollment runs
October 15 – December 7
Medicare’s Annual Open Enrollment Period runs from October 15 to December 7 every year. During this window, people with Medicare can review their current coverage and make changes for the following year, including switching Medicare Advantage plans, joining or dropping a prescription drug (Part D) plan, or moving between Original Medicare and Medicare Advantage.
Any changes made during this period take effect January 1. If your current plan still works well for you, you don’t have to do anything at all. Open Enrollment is simply the window when changes are allowed, not a requirement to make one.
MyCarePro is based right in Royal Oak, and our licensed Medicare specialists work with families throughout Metro Detroit, including Ferndale, Berkley, Clawson, Huntington Woods, Beverly Hills, Troy, Birmingham, Madison Heights, Southfield, and Oak Park. When you call or send us a question, you’ll talk to the same team every time, not a rotating call center.
We’ve spent years helping employers, employees, and families navigate COBRA, Medicare, and insurance transitions across this community, and Medicare guidance is simply an extension of that same work.

We’re licensed and certified, and we’re here to help you understand your options, not to steer you anywhere you don’t want to go.
Yes. There’s no cost to talk with us, ask questions, or review your current coverage.
Both, depending on what you need. Most people start by simply asking a question. If you’d ever like help comparing or enrolling in coverage, we can do that too, but only if and when you ask.
Yes. We talk with caregivers, adult children, and spouses every day. You don’t need to be the Medicare beneficiary yourself to reach out.
Not at all. Most of the people we talk with have had Medicare for years. This is just as much for someone who’s had coverage for a decade and still has questions as it is for someone approaching eligibility.
Yes. We’re happy to be a second opinion or a sounding board, no strings attached.
No. Nothing here requires an immediate decision. September is about understanding your options, not acting on them right away.
